Using P3M3® & P2MM™ to improve Performance

Snap Tech can provide an independent assessment of your organisation’s portfolio, programme and project management capability against OGC’s Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3) allowing you to address weaknesses and understand recurring problems. If your project management method is based on PRINCE2 we can also review your processes against the more specific PRINCE2 Maturity model (P2MM).

The Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3) has become a key standard amongst maturity models and provides an objective assessment of strengths and weaknesses in different areas – Management Control (Planning, Vision, Outcomes etc), Benefits Management, Risk Management, Financial Management, Stakeholder Management (including Communications), Governance and Resource Management.

The P2MM is very similar to the Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3) but consists of only three levels. It is designed to assess how an organisation can implement and use PRINCE2 shifting the implementation focus from the individual to the organisation. Benchmarking project management capability against the PRINCE2 Maturity Model (P2MM) demonstrates the organisational improvements delivered as a result of implementing PRINCE2.

Following an assessment, our approach to capability development will provide the tools and techniques required, coupled with mentoring, coaching and training delivery if required, to take an organisation through to achieving APMG certification.  Only an APMG ACO is licensed to conduct Maturity Assessments and Accreditations referred to.
