Introduction

Whether change is good or bad is irrelevant; how we deal and cope with change and the impact it has on an individual or an organization is what is most important! In the current working environment everybody experiences frequent change, and being able to deal with this effectively contributes to personal accomplishments within an rganization. Successful change management requires skilled people who can apply tried and tested techniques to make change not just happen but happen well.

What is

Dealing with change and, more importantly, the impact of change is a high priority for all organisations. Based on the  Esther Cameron and Mike Green book “Making Sense of Change Management” APMG have developed a qualification to help organisations and their people come to terms with these issues.

This Change Management qualification deals with the effects and management of change and, more importantly, the impact change can have on all organisations. The qualification has Foundation and Practitioner levels which are based on four modules, dealing with the theories of how change impacts on and is affected by:

  • The Individual
  • The Team
  • The Organisation
  • The Change Leader

You can become certified in Change Management through completing the learning around these and the Foundation and Practitioner exams. For the practitioner level, the book is supplemented with additional  information from an online directory for best practice thinking on a variety of management disciplines.
